confrontingbunting got their new logo design by running a design contest:
"Easy as Pi" logo contest!
Check out confrontingbunting's Logo design contest…
"Easy As Pi" (use the word "Pi" in the title and not the Pi symbol (π). Also, don't use any pie imagery, it is confusing. Overall objective: Design a graphic logo for the Easy as Pi traveling exhibit. What is the Easy as Pi exhibit? Easy as Pi is a group 15 table-top interactive math exhibits which travels from school to school. Each of the individual table-top exhibits explains a basic math principle taught in grades Kindergarten through 6th. Hands-on, interactive exhibits help young people engage with math in a way which is visual, tactile and easy to understand. Math is often perceived as boring. The Easy as Pi exhibits will be fun. The Easy as Pi exhibits will include: numbers, fractions, geometric shapes, volume, measurement, graphing, probability, circumference, etc. Audience: Students age 6 to 12. Tone: The logo should be high energy, fun and engaging. Details: When used on the side of a transport van, the logo should be highly visible with high impact. We would rather not use photos of kids. It is not necessary to have a graphic representation or numerical representation of PI, or the use of Pi, diameter or circumference. The logo should be strong in both full color and black and white. It will be as big as the side of a van, and as small as a business card. Even though most of the examples we chose have "characters" on top of type, that doesn't mean we absolutely need one. Maybe it's just circle imagery or radius or diameter imagery. I just posted a logo we like below for "LemonKids", which is nice and fun and
youthful, playful, yet modern and bold. doesn't have to have a character. could be just type, or type with numbers or pi symbol π
