No primary colors - I prefer bright colors that pop as accents. Blues and greens are my preference for main colors, as long as we aren't using the primary blue and green.
I prefer san serif, a modern font. I'd prefer the font below an image or illustration or overlayed across the illustration. I want the word 'Incorporated' spelled out in a smaller font below Dunn Electric, not abbreviated.
Been in the trades for 14 years. My passion outside of the day-to-day is that I am a huge cyclist. I'd love to incorporate some type of abstract design with some type of road bike component and an electrical symbol: Think bike cog, wheels, pedals, etc. somewhow combined with AC ripple (electrical symbols)
The bike part can be understated, doesn't need to be obvious to my target market - I just like to see my logo and know that as a cyclist there is a cool add-in.
Even though the indusrt is construction, I don't want big, bulky, heavy and already looking outdated. I prefer architecture (not super skinny font either though, I want bold font) techie, design forward.
