EngleeINTER was very accommodating to my requests and his design made my team think twice about what we really wanted in a logo.
I think sometimes designers need to throw their own ideas at clients , not only to make them think twice about their original thoughts but to show them another perspective of what they were thinking.
This designer definitely did all of those things.
How phil29 started their logo design journey
Eastblvd.com is a community message board for Central Alabama. It is a free general discussion board for local residents. The name comes from the section of road known for its proximity to the most popular shopping areas in the city.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our primary audience will be adults between the ages of 18-35 attending institutions of higher learning. The city (of approx. 225k) is by all means a college town; consisting of no less than 8 college/university campuses within the city limits. Approximately 28% of the population has a Bachelors degree or above.
Since the website is named for a popular thoroughfare; the logo should be modeled after green and white street sign. The logo should appeal to college students, and should follow a hip hop theme - it needs to be readable; use original graphics (w/ limited use of stock graphics); be colorful; use of artistic detail (e.g.,pixel art, cartoon characters, etc....) is a plus. IN OTHER WORDS, THE LOGO MUST "POP" OF THE SCREEN! Visual appeal to a student audience is a must.
