Sierra Del Tigre is a private conservation, protecting pristine cloud forest (definition of "cloud forest": a rainforest that is at a higher elevation with forest being in the clouds. It is scientifically significant.) Sierra Del Tigre boasts unique bio-diverse setting for ecology research located in Uvita, Costa Rica. We are a conservation dedicated to preserving the land against deforestation and extinction of tropical flora and fauna by doing the following actions:
We work with : individuals, groups, universities, and private institutions who are dedicated to preserving its natural infrastructure and further studying the role of the cloud forest restoration on: energy security, tropical ecology, and medicinal properties of the plants.
The income to sustain the project will come from three sources.
1. Private Foundations
2. NGO grants
3. Programs & Alliances through Universities and Scientific Field Research Groups.
