EducatedBy.Us helps parents find the top 1% of beautifully designed apps, books, games, movies and more to nurture a child's growth. The site curates and reviews unique products that combine education with the very best of contemporary and inspiring design, creativity, and imagination. This forward-looking site also encourages open and objective discussion about modern methods in education, STEM education (Science Technology Engineering and Math), developing children’s life skills, entrepreneurship in education technology, adopting data-driven and adaptive education, the future of quality education, supporting gifted children and more. We believe that everything starts in the home and parents are the most important partner in a child’s cognitive and emotional development. We also believe that the right path is to develop an intellectually stimulating environment for children that combines cutting-edge technology with traditional books and toys, parental support, and a spirit of innovation, creativity and excitement. The ultimate goal is to realize each child’s potential to build the next generation of creative thinkers and innovators, regardless of where and how they receive their formal education. AUDIENCE(S): To start, the site will focus on parents in their 20s-40s with younger children (i.e., 2-8 year olds), with additional resources for adult topics (links to interesting articles and research on early education, literacy, etc.). Many will be progressive thinkers who want to supplement their children's formal education with something more fun, exciting, creative and imaginative at home. They're going to be the types that value creativity, inspiration and independent thinking - designs that are too traditional probably won't appeal to them; something a little more surprising, hip and creative will.
Logo types to explore
This site will start as a resource but may develop into a business. The ideal logo is modern and contemporary - even though the topic is education, it's really about the future of education and having invested parents combine the best of what's available today as education rapidly evolves. For children, learning shouldn't feel like learning - they should be excited by the content. Parents participate in learning through reading, curating products, creating a home environment, etc., and should be empowered to do so in a way that's magical, creative and intellectually stimulating for children.
