1 - To give students an educational foundation for life based in a love of literacy.
2 - To arm youth with the the arsenal of literacy and language to seize opportunities for success in the 21st century.
3 - To ensure no child misses an opportunity for success due to illiteracy.
I'm launching a sister program to Top Honors (http://www.tophonors.org), focused on reading instead of math. We'll also help with nutrition in this community.

Other notes
Students essentially come in, get a healthy breakfast and then have a tutor read to them or read themselves. We will be developing a 12-part curriculum that covers vocabulary, Latin roots, etc in the future, so this logo should be able to scale as the breadth of program widens.
