"Christus Nexus" is a Latin phrase meaning, "Christ, the center." It is the name of a nonprofit organization that specializes in theological presentations at churches, Christian schools, and ministries.
Since "nexus" is also an English word that refers to an "intersection" or a "hub," I would like for the "X" in the word to stand out visually and to show the action of converging lines.
The word "Christus" does not need to be as visually prominent as the word "Nexus" if that looks best aesthetically.
I hope that the word "neXus" can have a dynamic, motion-like feel to its center.
UPDATE: ANOTHER OPTION MIGHT BE TO USE WHAT APPEARS TO BE A DROP OF RED BLOOD BEHIND THE MIDDLE OF THE WORD "NEXUS" WITH A LARGE "X" STAMPED THROUGH IT. THIS WOULD INCORPORATE TRADITIONAL CHRISTIAN IMAGERY (THE BLOOD OF CHRIST) AND HIGHLIGHT THE "X" IN "NEXUS." SINCE A CAPITAL "X" IS ALSO THE FIRST LETTER IN THE GREEK WORD FOR CHRIST, THE SYMBOLISM WOULD BE HEIGHTENED. I HAVE UPLOADED A SAMPLE DROP OF RED BLOOD BELOW.
