Logo types to explore
We have selected a template for the website which you can find at www.healingheartsfoundation.net/index.php. (Be sure to look at this specific page as putting in the url without the "index.php" will pull up a temporary page that we do not want to base the logo from.) The new logo should replace the current place holder there called "Meridian". There's plenty of space to the right since we understand the words "Healing Hearts Foundation" will use more space. We are open to the placement and sizing of the words and font. Notice that the logo that comes with the template is nice but doesn't incorporate earth tones, yet it does have simplicity we like. We are indifferent about the use of a heart shape in the logo, the bigger key word in the name of the business is "healing". We'd like to see some with and some without hearts. We do a lot of faxing with our logos, anything that is a solid color will only come through as black. So, for example, if you decide to use a heart shape, then make it line art since a big black heart would not suffice and use up too much ink. We are hoping that the beauty and feeling of the logo conveys in color as well as in black and white. We expect that the chosen logo will plug in to the template provided, but also want it to stand alone as printed on paper. Hopefully it will be simple enough to scale down at a lower resolution as well. Last but not least. We are not being specific about the use of shapes or choices of font, or other elements on purpose. The thought process for us is that we want to see some ideas that we would have never considered. The more important aspects are that it conveys a feeling of "healing" or "energy", looks good on the template, looks good on print, and can be scaled down for a biz card, or scaled up for a poster.
