How oceanridger started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
"Shaler Area Alumni" or "Shaler Area Alumni Association" or "Titan Club" or "Titan Nation"
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We're trying to build a connection for 25,000 students that have graduated from this this Pittsburgh high school during the years 1972-2017. We want to attract, activate, and mobilize them. The only unique identifiers are the HELMET in the logo (white or blue), and if school name is used, it's SHALER AREA. The first round of contest got me traditional "harvard crest" type designs, maybe because I wrote a narrow brief or put up limiting examples. Because this is not a formal organization, it can have the feel of a CLUB or TEAM, and we can have fun, dynamic, creative logo. CAN WE PLEASE HAVE SOME FUN? SMACK US IN THE FACE...
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
Blue shown in 2 current school logos should be a core base color if possible
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Looking for the wildly creative, but sill able to use as rally-cry to mobilize 25,000 former students of all ages.
About the current Helmet: The helmet shape is 3 top bars for 3 towns in our school district, and S & A for Shaler Area, and H for High.
School mascot name is "Titans" but not required in logo. Past logo has used "EuroFont" as font, in all CAPS.
