Working was Hydn was a pleasure. Once he submitted the design, I was absolutely sure about it being the one. He is friendly and quick to respond and revise anything that needed to be revised. I'm happy I brought him into the final round because he did a great job.
Great design and service!
great designer .. exceed expectation
How SmithyG started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our company sells Internal blinds and plantation shutters. External awnings, plantation shutters, roller shutters fly/security screens.
Our target audience is home owners mainly women looking for privacy, shade and updating the appearance of their home.
We want to feature shutter louvers that look recognisable as a window covering possibly with a view behind them.
Also the logo needs to be clear when small with a discernible shape and easily recognisable. No small details that get lost when it is smaller or seen at a distance.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Other color requirements
We want to have Orange as a feature colour. See this link for an example of the colour combinations we like http://www.colorcombos.com/color-sc…mbo98.html We are not fixed on these colours so if you want to use a different colour combination please do as long as it has orange in it.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We are looking for something that is recognisable in regards to window dressings with a contemporary, fresh and professional look.
We want a logo that is Clean and easily recognisable with a Fresh and Sharp, Professional look. We often get customers thinking we are part of a franchise chain with our current Interior Direct logo and we want to continue that impression.
We have attached our existing logo for Interior Direct and a mockup of one idea we had for Think Blinds which features a shutter with a view through it.
We are looking for something that is simpler than the think blinds example but is recognisable as shutter louvers not having the frame.
We like the icon simplicity of the blind spot logo and the clear wording.
The think green example is just another example of a design style we like.
We really want something where the icon is separate from the words and the logo can be rearranged to have the logo and words stacked vertically or in a line horizontally or the words stacked with the logo on the side.
