The system worked great, the designer (Hendrix) was great and the people at 99d were great.
How Darko Bodnaruk started their logo design journey
We are a startup in the telecommunications industry. Our main product is a PBX (i.e. a call server / telephony solution) for small and medium enterprises. The main selling points for the IT department is that it's easy to install & maintain. To the end users it brings unification of communication channels and a web-based interface greatly simplifies use of voice communication, messaging, conferencing and coworker presence awareness.
In the near future we will be launching a very innovative phone with a tangible user inteface, which will greatly simplify use of (landline) telephony. It is somewhat aimed at the elderly and the disabled but we anticipate interest among the general population as well.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We plan to sell our products mainly via system integrators, telcos and small businesses, not directly to end users. Therefore the logo needs to be serious to a certain extent.
The logo will be used both on the web and on business cards, so keep it simple: nothing too intricate, don't use too many colors. We like minimalism.
We have no color preference, but the logo should look good on both white and black.
The logo should project
- telecommunications (connecting people)
- simplicity / usability (main selling point of our products)
- we're dynamic & innovative (our strength as a startup)
- professionalism & reliability (very important in selling telecommunications equipment)
You can use an obelisk in the logo but it is not required, use whatever you think projects the above values.
I will gladly give feedback what I like about your creations.
Vector format is required!
Please no stock clipart, no gradients, no web2.0-style water reflections.
