Downers Grove North High School is a large suburban high school outside Chicago with 2300 students. Counselors at the school would like a logo created to convey how they provide focused services for students at each of the four years of high school (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior) and that these services build/scaffold over the four years to allow students to discover their likes/dislikes/interests/experiences/talents so that they are equipped for life after high school - whether that is 2-year or 4-year college, career or military service. The logo needs to have purple purple (PMS 268); other colors are fine. It should also work as a sub-brand to both the school's and district's identity; see http://www.csd99.org. The imagery should resonate with high-school age students and their parents - something inspirational and motivating, and that positions the counseling team as enthusiastic partners in a student's success and discovery of himself/herself.

Attached are some of the logos we use at the school; the one with the compass is used to communicate about its "Positively North" program. Maybe we could build from this to create the new "Discover You" logo? We can use any of these assets to create a new visual for the Counselors. Thank you!
