We are an education non-profit that partners with public school districts and their communities to fulfill our mission statement, which is to break the links between race, poverty, and educational outcomes by improving the academic and social success of ALL STUDENTS: ALL MEANS ALL. We believe that all children have the ability to learn at high levels and that schools MUST prepare all children for college or the work force.
Our target audience is educators and those connected to education—parents, teachers, principals, superintendents, students, education foundations, and other organizations working to improve public education.
We do not want to hold you back with too many requirements
This logo is for our website, with the potential to go on posters, business cards, flyers, shirts, etc.
The logo can be fun, however must be professional.
The logo should communicate:
(1) Our Mission Statement (see above): Please note that depictions of "chains" are logically associated with "links"; and while chains or links will be considered, designers are encouraged to go beyond the traditional associations to emphasize our commitment to shattering the connections between race, poverty and academic achievement.
(2) Globalization: Our belief that ALL children can learn and our belief that education is the key to preparing children for a global economy
(3) Collaboration: The necessary partnership between schools and their communities to prepare every child to be competitive in a global economy.
If actual children are included, please make sure the pictures are of children of all races, ages, and genders; with a heavy emphasis on minority children.
Traditional education icons (books, rulers, etc.) are not encouraged
The name “Panasonic Foundation” can be included in the actual design or simply above, below, or next to the logo.
Designs should be in vector format. Copies in .ai and jpeg would be useful as well.
