I'm a residential INTERIOR DESIGNER with a somewhat transitional-to-CONTEMPORARY design style. I'm looking for a logo that is SOPHISTICATED YET PLAYFUL, something that can last for years without looking dated. I'm interested in designs with a SIMPLE ELEGANCE, and I would also love to see some WHIMSICAL designs.
I'm interesting in designs that incorporate my INITIALS (JT) into the logo, or JTI (for Jackie Tipper Interiors), but I'd also like to see designs that spell out my name - so all sorts of designs with or without initials are welcomed.
Perhaps something with a SCROLLING/ARTISTIC/ORNAMENTAL element/design to it. Some sort of repeating/mirroring pattern (think of a snowflake or a kaleidoscope as examples). It could incorporate my name or initials inside of the scrolling graphic, or could be a separate/standalone detail. I'm open to abstract designs incorporating my name. I'm open to solid color patterns, and I also like the idea of multiple colors fading/transition from one to another color within the pattern. I like the contrast of the ornate pattern/graphic detail with very simple, tight lettering. Perhaps a modern block letter font style.
I like the idea of contrasting colors - something eye catching that makes an IMPACT- but not too bright or overdone. I'm gravitating toward a cooler toned color palette with complementary colors - think blues, bluish-greens, silver/gray, black/white, deep purples/violets, and anything you think might go well with those shades.
You might want to try combining gray, black, white, pale/light green, or pale/light blue, or silver. I like gray backgrounds with a colorful graphic element that "pops" against the gray, with a contrasting text color. But I'm open to seeing other backgrounds besides gray. You might try solid color graphic elements, or perhaps blending from one color to another (for example, a scrolling design that transitions from light green/blue to white and/or silver).
Designers should feel free to be as ORIGINAL, CREATIVE, and UNIQUE as possible.
I also like the idea of perhaps including a graphic/silhouette that relates to interior design (a piece of furniture, interesting chandelier/light fixture, a pattern, an accessory, etc.).
