Local Perks is a start-up company that will provide schools with an easy and effective way to raise funds. Local Perks will partner with AZ Community Education Foundation (non-profit) and donate 70% of membership donations to the school of the members choice.
As a LP "Community Member," you have access to LP "Community Partners" (businesses) offering discounts on products and services they provide.
We are thinking of using the slogan or tag line "Giving back works!" but welcome any creative tag lines a designer feels maybe appropriate.

Ultimately we are looking for a logo that depicts our primary focus on giving back to the education system for both consumers and small businesses. Local Perks will be a fundraising "mobile app" for a smart phone that will enable people to use the app as portal to donate to schools - while saving money at local businesses who become partners.
Our personal preference in a logo is "less is more" and prefer something simple, elegant and classy.
It's important to subtly & creatively communicate in our logo what we do in using sm. business and regular people (often parents) that want to help raise additional funds for schools.
Sadly, the state of ARIZONA is ranked 47th and has one of the lowest budgets per student in the nation! It's the "white elephant" in our state that everyone is ignoring!
