Morryred was really helpful and positive, provided lots of different design options and was happy to make changes to the design when I asked for them.
Very good - professional and diligent, despite quite a wide brief from us this designer has created a logo perfect for our business. Highly recommended.
I'm totally happy with new icon for my app. It's minimalistic and elegant. Nice job!

My third job with Handzoftime, and always a pleasure to work with. I couldn't be happier with the end result.
I enjoyed working with this design. Very responsive to all my feedback.

BLACKSTRIPE.net offers an online defensive driving course and exam for several states—for points reduction, insurance rate reduction, etc...
There is already a huge player in this market: idrivesafely.com.
... plus 15 or so smaller players.
They all have a similar, stale look and name.
Although brand recognition isn't a huge deal in this type of market where repeat customers are somewhat rare (SEO is really all that matters and we're likely to only see each customer once... via google search for: "texas defensive drive online" or something similar), we still need **something** that pops when people are looking at the top 3 or 4 hits in google.
Starts with the name, and once they (hopefully) click our link in google, the logo/branding should be both striking and strikingly different from idrivesafely.com and other similar sites.

Last time I did one of these contests for a different business venture, I was way too specific about what I wanted—when I should have admitted that I really didn't know what I wanted—and I think it hamstrung the designers.
Let's start this contest in a more open-ended way and drill down on specifics as some of the designs start coming in.
I'll try to quickly rate each design so that everyone gets an idea as we go along what works and doesn't work.
Also... we've been using all caps thus far, but we're still in the planning stages here, so we'll follow **your** lead. If the winning design uses all lowercase or B and S are capitalized, then we'll adjust to match.
