iContribute
Journal Broadcast Group is preparing to launch a community-powered content effort in which our viewers, listeners and mobile users will be invited to contribute photos, videos and text from their mobile devices or computers to our broadcast TV and radio programs. Because this program is centered around community contributions, we believe the creative designer community here on 99designs.com can help us create a logo that will work on TV, in newspaper, on our websites and on mobile. Our target audience is local smartphone users.
We'd like the graphic image within the logo to be able to stand on its own, and include the lowercase "i" and capital "C" as part of it. The "iC", pronounced "I see" could be used in our marketing of the iContribute brand, since the emphasis of the brand will be photos and videos from our audience's smartphones. It would be interesting to see if the "iC" graphic element could appear within a smartphone or camera. The "iC" does not need to be incredibly obvious, so we would certainly entertain a subtle "iC" like the arrow in the FedEx logo. The typface of the adjacent iContribute should be a bold enough typeface that it will be clearly readable if superimposed on top of a photograph.
