Charlotterazzell got their new logo design by running a design contest:
logo for Charlotte Razzell Photography

Wedding and portrait photographer. Photographing weddings, bumps and babies. The clients I would like to attract would be couples based in the countryside, between the ages of about 27 and 32. I would love for them to be happy, fun, life loving people with a good sense of humor and good careers. Well traveled, adventurous, would prefer a nice county pub lunch than a meal at the Ritz. Well dressed, follow fashion a bit but don't look like they have stepped straight out of vogue, dressed in what I would call comfortable fashion. Friendly, family people. Would be great if the clients I get for a wedding would come back for me to take pregnancy photos and baby photos.
Logo types to explore
The logo will need to sit in the corner of photos as a watermark. I want something quite simple so it's not too distracting on the photo. The logo will also be at the top of my website and on any marketing material so although I'd like it simple it needs to be able to hold its own. The thoughts I have had are 3 squares (rounded edges maybe) or circles with my 3 colours and then my name in there some how. I like how the company name is in the second to last logo I uploaded (clever girl photography) I don't mind if 'Charlotte Razzell Photography' goes over the 3 shapes or is just in one, or outside the shapes but I want the shapes to be the main part that people see first, then the name. It doesn't HAVE to be squares or circles, I also like hearts and I'm open to other ideas. I have uploaded photos of examples of the colours I like. The first photos has examples of yellows, the top photos of the door and the flower are the yellows I am drawn to the most. I have also uploaded the turquoise I like and the pink. As for font, I want something quite fun, maybe so it looks like its hand writing. Possible something similar to the writing in the photos of the pink example I uploaded. I also uploaded a couple of other photos of layout / shape I like etc.

Tpcreative is an amazing and sensitive designer who understood perfectly my brief, her design was striking from the first stroke among other designs of the contest and appeared to me as obvious. Also, working with her to finalize the files was very pleasant. The communication was great, the service amazing. I highly appreciated her professionalism and her talent. Looking forward to work with her again.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
