The Harvard School of Public Health Childhood Obesity Intervention Cost-Effectiveness Study (CHOICES) Project is a collaboration with Columbia University and research partners at Deakin University and the University of Queensland in Australia. The CHOICES Project involves generating cost-effectiveness estimates for 40 of the most relevant childhood obesity prevention interventions.
The goal of the CHOICES is to communicate the evidence for cost-effective childhood obesity prevention strategies in a manner that is informative and persuasive in future policy and decision-making, ultimately resulting in policies, environmental and programmatic impacts that lead to improvements in health outcomes and more efficient use of limited health resources.
