I am working together with several groups and government organisations to setup a platform for independent Dutch game developers. This to bring all their creative and nice products to market, that are currently not seen as interesting (enough) by traditional publishers.
The platform is not for profit (foundation) but with a commercial sense. This as the platform should lead to a stronger collective in the next few years.
The platform should lead to more sharing of information, make the members more market driven in their approach and bring many products to the consumers through online and offline distribution.
The target audience is in the first place the developers who want join in this collective.
Secondly it will be featured on all the visual identity items (pack, site etc..)
The range of products will vary much, so it will need to be mainstream accepted and not link into any of the 'traditional' game subjects people might have in their minds (core gamers/18-35) but instead needs to be a professional binding between the developers community, retail, government and the consumers.
a clean logo that is based on the less is more principle.
I would like to see a wink to the dutch items, but not as a main attraction (windmills, tulips, clomps)
Orange as a color does help, but than the light fresh variants.
Preferred colors, white/grey, orange & black.
I also am fan of the friendly, simple & textbased logos (Amazon)
