Katie was great to work with. She approached my project slowly, honestly, and thoughtfully, making incremental changes based upon my feedback and guidance. Katie did her research on the subject and produced a beautiful AND functional logo for BladeFit, which is no mean feat considering how tricky it is to capture fencing meaningfully in artwork. I look forward to working with her again on my next project!

Modern design aesthetic is important. Playful but not cute-sy. While it's tempting to think of a logo with green shoots, it would be nice to have a logo that evokes the idea of baby/child in some way so it is obvious that this is a children's store, not a plant store. Target audience is the upscale "yoga" mom (and grandparents/friends/gift givers). Store will feature sustainable products but aesthetic will not be tree-hugger-ish. Example products: furniture line by DucDuc (http://www.ducducnyc.com), decor/furnishings by Dwell Studio (http://www.dwellstudio.com).
