A winner was selected from 229 designs submitted by 63 freelance designers.
Design a logo for a major tool manufacturer that will be seen by the entire walls and ceilings industry and admired by contractors world-wide. Sur-Pro (pronounced Sure Pro), has rebranded and is now looking for an amazing logo that captures market attention and resonates among professional contractors.

The Logo:
Typeface/WordMark: Clean, simple, strong and bold. Something tight that can easily beapplied to a multitude of media - tools, packaging, product brochures, box,web, etc.
Icon/Logo Mark: A simple icon that isn't literal to the tools, butrather expresses the branding in an esoteric manner. Sur-Pro's brand messagingis about Quality, Value, Innovation and Service, so a logo that had 4 points,stripes, lines, or other elements that could build into the Sur-Pro brand storywould be great.
Tagline:
Be Sure.
Colors:Black, Yellow and Gray preferred. Black, Green, and Gray as a secondaryoption. I'm also open to other strong 3-color pallets that help the brandbuild a recognizable color association.

Requirements:
The finallogo needs to be vector art (Illustrator/EPS preferred). The colors need to be translated in RGB, CMYKand PMS.
- Strong Typface Logo, and a simple esoteric logo mark to compliment
- 2 versions of 3-color max color schemes: (1) Yellow, Black and Gray/White and (1) Green, Black and Gray/White).
- Designed in vector artwork (Adobe Illustrator preferred)
- Provide colors formats in CMYK, RGB, HEX, and PMS
- No cheesy clipart - no tool icons, or construction workers
- No crazy typefaces - this should be classic design with long lasting brand power
- No low-res photoshop files
