About the business: Digital Insights.
We provide training and consulting services to companies and individuals within the construction industry (architects, engineering offices, contractors and owner / developer organisations) who are transitioning to the digital method known as BIM (Building Information Modelling). Our work includes creating ‘BIM Strategies’ for organisations, consulting on the implementation process, providing support for construction project delivery, individual coaching and training. We plan to create an eLearning portal and various apps to support people in understanding BIM.
We have launched an information portal at http://www.bimconnect.org that explains a bit about the branch we work in. We also developed a small application (http://www.BIMprofiler.org) to help organisations assess their level of BIM maturity. BIMconnect is a not-for-profit initiative. Our new business will be commercially oriented, but will still have some relationship to BIMconnect. The logo of Digital Insights does NOT need to be aligned with BIMconnect.
