I am a producer/director who also teaches digital filmmaking. I recently purchased a non-working farm with rolling hills a stone pond and weathred out buildings to expand the workshops and productions. I'm attracting people who want to learn a craft and simultaneously have a country experience. I also do workshops that are a collaborative effort derived by workshopping a script. People make make movies, make friends and eat good food.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
My audience has been 25 - 40 year old professionals, teachers and state workers interested in exploring a new career or hobby opportunities. Income level of most are $30,000 - $70,000. I probably have a 65% male to 35% female ratio. They want to be impressed by equipment learn and have fun.
I'd like a logo and social media logo mark that has at least two colors. I've used barn red and black in the past. I've also considered green as tying into green pastures or red, green, blue as symbolizing RGB video signal. I attached a file of what I made and have been using in the past. I like this slate and rooster on a film reel/sunrise concept but it seems flat and doesn't have the professional high-end look my videos have. I'd like to see variations of this version but I'm definitely not stuck on this concept. If the slate concept is used I think it should have some dimension with highlights fall-off. I like the way apple uses the slate for Final Cut Pro. I also thought a red & white farm checkerd table cloth had some merit? I'd like to have the ability to separate the elements of this logo for a signature build for the opening of my videos. I'd like this delivered as (.ai) and (.eps) vector and photoshop psd with element layers. This will also be used in direct mail print, so if you have any suggestions or corrections please let me know as I'm not very print savy. I'll be returning with T-shirt and web icon design work.
