We use academic research to provide analysis of the latest news, public policy debates, market-influencing events, and scientific discoveries. Our brand needs to convey expertise and objectivity with a modern, exciting spin. We strive for the seriousness of the Wall Street Journal and NY Times but with the engaging, interesting vibe of Good.is or TED.
Our domain is footnote1.com so we want the logo to say "Footnote1" with the 1 in superscript, as it would be for a footnote in a research paper.

We want to avoid blue and red (unless both are used) because we need our brand to be politically neutral. The site is going to be text, rather than image, heavy.
