I consider myself both a life-style and formal portrait photographer. The majority of my work is outdoors or on location but will soon be moving to a studio setting as well where I will be able to do more traditional posed photography. I am in my early 30's and although have an appreciation for classic portraiture, I love the new funky looks of photography and using all of the latest and greatest that photoshop has to offer to add a more artistic element to my photographs.
I like to think of myself as fun, outgoing, trendy and always wanting to try new ways of photographing my subjects
I am a brand new photographer, so I am still developing my brand.
I need a logo that can be my inspiration & starting point for my whole brand.
I want a logo that has a new and fresh feel but will not need to be changed in three years due to it being overly trendy. The logo must contain my full name- Jennifer K Photography.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
My target audience is both parents and teenagers. I am doing maternity, newborn, family and high school senior portraits. My clients are typically very well connected with facebook, twitter and the Internet. They are fun, trendy and current with fashion and trends...especially high school seniors!
At some point I will also target various other groups of people for weddings and commercial photography so while the design must mainly appeal to women/families, it must be able to be used for other photography types as well.
A few words that would describe what I am looking for:
I am open to all colors. Just start designing and l will post comments on the colors that I do not like.
Font should be clean and fresh.
I'm open to ideas. Maybe play with the K in Jennifer "K". I definitely want more of a boutique feel over a corporate feel.
What I don't want - VERY important:
- No literal photography logos, no cameras, no film strips
Finished requirements -
I would like one element of the logo to be usable for my prints, such as a signature stamp on the bottom corner of each of my prints but not the entire logo. This is so there is brand continuity between the website, business cards and final prints. Perhaps my company initials or other ways to do this. The final deliverables should be Photoshop psd file and an Adobe Illustrator file. I would also like to have a list of Fonts used. Please also provide high resolution jpg of winning design.
