Grab a Game (http://www.grabagame.co.nz/)
I'm a 20-something bloke from New Zealand, and I'm looking to get rich. As with all things, however, one must start out small - this is me starting out.
I provide squash clubs with a web-based court booking solution.
Currently I have two clients, and am looking to expand. I am going to widen the scope of my software and target different types of sports clubs, starting with tennis.
I'm 100% no non-sense, so don't be offended if I call your spade a spade.
You can see my current (rubbish) logo and (even worse) website here: http://www.grabagame.co.nz/
My target audience is middle aged men and women who are still fit and active and aren't scared of using technology.
These are the individuals that run sports clubs.
Have you ever been a member of some sort of club? If you have, think of the handful of people that keep it running year in, year out... now pretend they're fit and love to use new technology.
That's my target audience.
Further to the above, I target people that aren't afraid of change (or are LESS afraid of it than others!).
I want my new logo to make people automatically think of what it is I do, and how it can help make their lives easier.
I want it to make them say to themselves "Hey, we should be using something like this!".
My logo must EXPLODE off the page and GRAB your attention. It needs to make people WANT to look at it and find out more.
My logo MUST contain:
* The words "Grab a Game" OR
* My website address (http://www.grabagame.co.nz/) OR
* Both.
I like the colours blue and orange.
Most IMPORTANT of all, remember that YOU are the designer. You're good at interpreting what your clients say and being creative with it. If you think I'm full of rubbish and want to go your own way, by all means... dazzle me.
