Immersive Tech (ImTech) is a non-profit think tank to promote the development and adoption of immersive technology. The term “immersive technology” refers to simulated realities, interactive devices, and applications that combine to create an “immersive” experience into technology. It includes (but is not limited to) technology that blurs, if not erases, the line of distinction between the confined physical world and the boundless digital world. ImTech seeks to benefit humanity by advancing fields of industry, such as health, education, entertainment and the arts, through the use of immersive technology.
ImTech aligns the work of researchers, businesses, and manufacturers with other creative communities, professional organizations, and the general public. The organization serves as an indispensible resource and authority to the field by establishing and disseminating industry guidelines and standards. ImTech is the central hub for collaboration, education, and promotion of immersive technology. With the help of partners, grantors, and members, ImTech will create lasting change to the way people perceive reality.
We partner technology innovators with business entrepreneurs to come up with powerful solutions for humanity's challenges. We are building a community of people interested in virtual reality, and immersion into the digital world.

We want the logo to mainly state "imtech" (can play with lower/upper/mixed-case), but also include our url "immersivetech.org" across the bottom as a minor secondary item. The url should not be a main part of the logo, but there simply to guide people to the correct webpage.
Please incorporate a symbol with the logo.
Logo should be concept-based, and not include any current technology (since it will eventually be outdated as technology progresses).
Logo should not be overly complex, but should be elegant and clean. Logo should be able to be faxed, be on letterheads, etc and still be legible.
Any questions can be directed to @immersivetechla on twitter!
You can visit our website http://www.immersivetech.org and watch the intro video to gain an idea of the technologies we work with.
