I have a photography business that specializes in wedding, families and general event coverage.
Logo types to explore
Over the years my business has outgrown my old logo. My homemade logo now sticks out as one of the least appealing parts of my website (my main marketing tool and portfolio of work) and it needs to come up to speed. I am an independent professional photographer with over 15 years in the high-end wedding photography business. My goal is to attract the well-heeled guests of the Vail Valley who are recently engaged. I would like the symbol and text to evoke feelings of confidence, competence and natural beauty. My style is low key and photojournalistic, and I interact with my clients by putting them at ease to get the most natural candids I can. I like to show my subjects in a peaceful state, and they appreciate my ability to do so. My new logo needs to get that across. I also shoot destination weddings, and do travel photography as well. The logo needs to appeal to women and men, gender-neutral please. I would like to avoid pastels, pink or very bold colors. Earth tones would be a good start, but I don't want the palette to be boring either. So far, I'm not sure if I want my initials (TA) in the symbol "Photography" should be readable in the typeface I like a bit of Asian design influence, but I am not Asian and do not wish to present as such either- I just have a bit of an affinity for an eastern look in art. If you are not comfortable using an Asian-style element in your design, feel free to leave it out, it's not a deal-breaker for me. The logo will primarily appear against a white background My working milieu is 4 star hotels, spas, fine cuisine, alongside a world-class ski resort. Key words: Simple, elegant, refined, natural, calm, timeless
