New logo wanted for ASUPS

Associated Students of the University of Puget Sound

The Associated Students of Puget Sound (ASUPS) is an autonomous, student-run department on campus. Over a century old, ASUPS oversees its registered clubs and organizations, provides programming for the campus community, handles policy decisions that affect student life, maintains a student presence in the conduct/justice system, provides student representation on various committees across campus, and generally serves as the voice of the student body at Puget Sound. WE ARE TARGETING Students, so we are looking for an official yet modern logo that will incorporate our values and the culture of a Liberal Arts education.

We are looking for the design to EITHER USE UNIVERSE and/or GARAMOND as fonts. No other fonts will be wanted.

We also want the slogan to be underneath the ASUPS with a simple design that incorporates Mt. Rainier AND/OR the axe we attached. We don't want both on the same logo. We are looking for a simple logo that is modern and very notorious. We don't want any intricate design that is geared for Students age 18-23. Serifs are welcomed if they work well with the logo.

Please make sure you ONLY use the colors we want. PLEASE DO SOME RESEARCH ON THE SCHOOL before you start creating the logo.
