New logo wanted for noows

Social news aggregator and discussion. Not specifically focused, more of a general sounding board for what's hot. Mobile/Social news reporting. Satire, poking fun of our politicians, etc.

Open to noows vs (noows.com), but would probably prefer without.
Thought of using the o's as talking heads, globes, camera lense, etc. Since the name is so simple, one though was to compose each letter of many different (and colorful) elements (i.e. tech elements, finance elements, weather elements -- obviously can't incorporate other logos).

There won't be many other design elements on these pages (i.e. top left logo with most of the rest of the page being utilitarian), so whatever graphical elements are added really need to make it stand out.

This is just sort of a pet project with a domain I've sat on for years, not an existing community, so any sort of wow factor to draw people in. I'm quite flexible, so please use your best imagination not just the criteria I'm suggesting.  

Also open to some sort of original character/mascot instead of the design elements directly in the word noows.  Obviously the reddit alien and android "android" come to mind.
