We are a soon to launch specialist online retailer of stationery products. Whiteboards are going to be our first product segment however we have a number of other stationery type products earmarked for market in the coming months. As we are going with a multiple product / multiple website (specialist) strategy we are intending to have consistency across this logo and future logos that we will need designed - the consistency will be in the 'store.com.au' part of the logo across the multiple sites that we run. In terms of the first part of the logo ideally it will represent / reflect the type of product we trying to sell - in this case a whiteboard of course. From a brand image perspective stationery is not a particularly hip type of product and we envisage that the target audience is more likely to be business people / 'mature'. Consequently the logo doesn't need to be too playful / clever as we expect that the visitors to the site will be more interested in range and price than anything else.
