This is my first time using 99designs and would I use it again? ABSOLUTELY!! I had 34 x designs from about maybe 15 different designers. It was incredible to see the different designs put forward from designers all over the globe. My only criticism is the designers need to also understand that they maybe on the other side of the world and as such there is always going to be a time delay in getting answers to their questions due to the different time zones we all work in. Some of them are very eager to win the job, so they get a bit demanding with their repeated emails and contact requests. Paul.Phoenix who won this project delivered almost everything i wanted to see in his first concept. Great job and congratulations Paul.
How Andreas Kambanis started their logo design journey
londoncyclist.co.uk is there to serve the London cycling community. It is a place for cyclist to swap stories about their cycling around the capital, to read gear reviews that help people get more out of their cycling and also to find great new routes for enjoying the bike.
I'm looking for a clean, simple logo that needs to work on white and slightly darker background.
Feedback wise I'll be providing as best as possible and as quickly as possible to help me get the best design and for you to not be left wondering what I'm looking for.
Thank you very much for your contributions and look forward to showing it off to the world.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Londoners, cyclists, like outdoors, 25-44, male
I've attached some images for potential inspiration.
1 - Simple is better
2 - Must work both on white background aswell as slightly darker
3 - Elegant font for words LondonCyclist which should be joined together
4 - I'm more interested in showcasing the cycling side rather than the London side. However feel free to experiment with both angles.
5 - Like logos with subtle hints of the theme of the site.
6 - Use warm colours
7 - Easy to recognise at a quick glance
8 - The site isn't as much about the exercise/sporty side of cycling it is more about the enjoyment of it and the freedom it gives.
The current site is in need of a redesign so probably won't provide much inspiration.
