We are a group of media sales professionals who between us have decades of experience across radio, TV, online, newspapers, magazines and outdoor. We are building an online resource and community site for media sales people to get advice on best practice for sales, discuss challenges with each other, and most importantly connect and communicate. Media sales is an industry with specific challenges, and we hope that this site will address all of these and provide solutions to empower the reps and make them better.
Our primary target market is simple - sales people across all forms of media, new and traditional. Those who are out in field every day, knocking on doors, doing the deals and facing a market that is tougher than ever.
Similarly, the guiding principles can be applied to sales of all kinds, particularly in a down economy.
Media is such an evolving medium, and we are after a logo that will have longevity, and that speaks to what we do.
We currently have a rough design concept for the site, which we will tweak depending on logo that we choose. The logo should be on a white background, or have a transparent background.
Any logos that use stock photography should be rights cleared or royalty free. Colour shouldn't be garishly bright, and please nothing cartoon-like.
In addition to the main logo, a 65x65 version that we can adapt for a favicon and iPhone bookmark icon would be great but not a mandatory.
We would need it delivered in JPEG or GIF format. 950px wide maximum, depth is flexible but ideally no more that 250px.
