meeteem is a non-profit organization that will be somewhat of a neighborhood version of big brother/sister. i want this to be a design that will look really good on apparel. they want it to be retro/70's, colorful (a bunch of neons) but also have some edge (some black as well).
meeteem
i grew up in the inner city of DC and want to give back to a community that needs help. older, more seasoned meeteem folks can pass on their skills, knowledge and creativity to at-risk youth. in the end, the youths will also teach something to the meeteem volunteers. it should be a give and take on both sides. we are trying to get these youths ready for life in a new way...learning a wide range of real life skills with both parties experiencing life in ways they never imagined.
i want inner city youth to gravitate towards the brand. i want the word to be retro 70's looking (maybe NYC in the 70's). i want the word to be as symmetrical as possible. i want the "e's" to be facing the "t" (i.e. so the 2nd second set of "e's" are facing backwards). i want the "m's" to just be two humps. i want it to be relatively simple but be interesting, fun, edgy and colorful (an image that inner city teenagers relate to) from 13-18 years old will gravitate towards/relate to (and hopefully see happiness/good times ahead in the design but also some edginess).
don't want any capital letters.
