Sensun Research
I am a food scientist/sensory scientist/nutritionist trained in flavour chemistry and the sensory science of wine (ph.d). professionally; I have worked in the premium chocolate industry globally (asia, europe, north america) and now I am an independant working as a consultant to the food industry. My work involves creating product from concept to manufacturing prototype. I work with chefs for product creations and consumer/sensory panels to get product that people want. I seek truth in my work and I am happy to debunk food myths if consumers want something different. At the end of the day; I'm motivated by giving people quality product that they want, so that all involve prosper. My true passion is creating healthy, tasteful products that people will buy/consume either mass market or premium.
My audience is large to medium food businesses, or consumer goods companies that are interested in systematic approach to consumer research using sensory science rather than typical market research methods.
My audience typically doesn't have the internal resources for a sensory scientist, and consumer/market research budgets are often too pricey.
I can work on product optimization (existing product) or product innovation (assist with creating new product).
Clients might be; Food Companies, Commercial Bakeries, Cosmetic Companies, Skin Care Companies, Fragrance Companies - any consumer related product that involves the "senses"
The name Sensun is a made up word - the inspiration is "sensory" hence SENS and SUN connotes light, inspiration, truth. I am a spiritual person who believes in seeking truth at all levels.
The name confuses people because they don't know what it means. I understand that people call it SUNSEN OR SENSUN: hence I would like something in the design that shows "SUN" ie, either a sunburst, or the use of colour in the company name, so that it's easier to remember for people.
I have chosen a colour palette that I like (orange, cherry red, grey),
I am traditional but modern and simple in my approach and aesthetic; I would like the logo to communicate this. Clean, modern font. a logo that is warm (sun) but also clean, serious (research).
I have attached the colours i would like to see used in the logo; however - if designers are moved to use another approach, I'm open to it. Many thanks to everyone that participates!! I look forward to the results.
