Berdonz did a great job of understanding the direction we were looking to go and came up with a great design!
Corne comes in clutch for me again!
I have used him a few times. Very much appreciate his skill and professionalism
Ela's work is beautiful. She absolutely captured the emotional intent of what I was going for. She was very thorough and patient in making changes. I especially appreciate her hard work in creating many different designs to choose from. I would absolutely recommend working with her to anyone.

How pastormattB started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
"Covenant" must be a part of the logo. Our full name is "Covenant Christian Reformed Church"
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a Christian Church that hopes to be inviting to outsiders, and meaningful to existing members. We have a bit of a slogan "Rising To New Life in Christ" (We don't want those words in the logo, but that concept could be used as image inspiration). We really want a cross in the logo!
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
background: we're drawn to a white background, but not opposed to a solid colour;
also drawn to gray-ish blue-ish-purple - similar to: R = 67, G = 89, B = 127
Thinking of the red/brown as more of an accent colour - similar to: R = 56, G = 14, B = 15
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Once the contest started I left this message, but I wanted to paste it here, so that it helps to influence your design as well!
1 - We are liking when the words "Christian Reformed Church" is fully across the span of the word "Covenant"
2 - We like the the Cross being the main thing of the graphic
3 - We are growing less fond of the burgundy colour and more of the brighter blue currently used in #24-26.
4 - We'd be interested in seeing something done with the "T" in Covenant being the cross (not sure though...)
5 - Please do not incorporate an "R" as a focus point - this can be confusing as to what we are trying to communicate.
6 - We like the Word Covenant being a big focus, with Christian Reformed Church underneath.
We are wondering about what a logo might look like if something were similar to the upload below... Except NOT as heavy metal bandish as my poor drawing looks :)
