Beauty By Neha: I'm a professional makeup artist (MUA) but my brand has 2 components: Creative - Professional Makeup and Beauty Blog as well as Freelance Makeup Services in LA and Melbourne Business - Social media (IG) Consulting and Coaching (beauty industry) as well as Product Collaborations mainly through IG account Target Audience: Age: 25-45 Gender: Female International (Australia, USA) Demographic: English-speaking, Western/International Typical job position: The business owner/influencer/social media managers Beauty Business Owners, MUAs (makeupartists), Beauty Bloggers Interests: Online Health/Beauty Business Cruelty-free Non-toxic Conscious (Vegan) High calibre salons and clinics (eg Miss Fox)
Other color requirements
It needs to be a very strong, powerful logo - open to your recommendations of colour that will appeal to my audience. BEAUTY In caps (bold, thick, powerful would look good) and then in contrast "BY NEHA" in feminine, strong, signature-like flowy font. It should look strong enough on email signatures etc so needs to be sharp.
About the brand/branding: Colours: The main/primary brand colours that I like are: a peachy pink, a bright red and a deep pink - however it needs to be powerful so feel free to use DARK colours like Black and GOLD as well. ETHOS: The main ethos or philosophy of my brand is creativity mixed with cruelty-free beauty and business. I'm all about creating positive impact and encouraging my audience to get informed about their choices and decisions. I did an exercise where you describe your brand's personality and Dreamer is the main word that came to mind. This is very much like how I am as a person. The dreamer is idealistic but also wants to create positive change. They are passionate and always day dreaming and love to make their environment beautiful through art, creativity, decor, etc. I gravitate to the ethereal, dreamy, clean, feminine, graceful looking brands that I see. Romance/Glam is more about the creative side of my business (makeup artistry and collaborations) and the brand is very much like a Friend (genuinely cares for customers and that's where my social media consulting comes in). I like things to be a little bit edgy and not TOO feminine or soft though, because I think there needs to be some Strength to the brand and the personality. This brand is a STRONG LEADER. Not afraid to speak out or stand for what is right and make a difference. So a slight edge will be great in the design. Black and Gold may give it that edge. I'm open to your recommendations on these colours in case you think they will not match or look good together as a whole on the website and logo and general branding. FONTS: I've attached something above that I like as a font example. Ideally a strong, bold font in caps and then "Neha" my name in a more elegant, signature style, but again, I'm open and flexible to recommendations.
