Thriving Families Network (TFN)
I am the director of the TFN: I need to get the different organizations in this network to work together. Each org. has a different mission and vision and they operate in different areas of Marin County. I want people from these organizations to team up and share their resources with each other so their clients (low-icome families) can benefit from the services that TFN offers as a whole. All the organizations get funding from a foundation to fight poverty under this Thriving Families Network idea. They have a commitment to do it. I coordinate their collaborative work.
We will use the logo for a number of things: documents, website, banners, id cards. letterheads, etc. Service providers as well as recipients of the services will recognize the Logo.
The service providers are the staff from the 12 organizations and the clients are the low-income program participants that will benefit from the services.
The logo should capture the following concepts:
Ending the Cycle of poverty
Multiple non-profit organizations working together (collaboration effort)
The work is done in the County of Marin in California
Marin is about nature, the ocean and the accessibility to San Francisco through the Golden Gate Bridge.
The other side of the coin is the poverty and lack of opportunities that you cannot see from the 101 freeway that runs through the County.
I would like to see opportunities and challenges. The strength of people pulling their resources to make a difference. etc.
Color is good because we have blue ocean and skies and green hills all around.
I do not want any pictures of real people shaking hands or handing things out. I'm looking for a good logo that will unite these 12 great non-profit organizations together as one, towards the common goal of ending poverty.
