I am a photographer who has been published in magazines and built several businesses who is now focusing his attention on helping other photographers achieve their goals through business consulting and video photography training.

The attached image is just a quick logo I made to reflect the vibe I'm going for. I really like hand lettering a lot and would like this to be an emblem, circle, or have the same type of design and feel as the one I did. You guys are the pros so go nuts with it.
Think hand lettering meets an old worn our college school shirt.
This business is essentially an online school for photographers. The play on the dojos, black belts, throwing stars, etc isn't out of the question but keep it fairly subtle. Like if you make an emblem logo, incorporate the throwing stars in the design in some small way. Maybe a repeating throwing star or regular star pattern like my sample design (the stars can be much cooler though!)
If I like your style there may be a lot more work that comes from this job because we have a lot of products that will need design!
