pd_connor got their new logo design by running a design contest:

TEAM MEN is a health and fitness company aimed specifically at men. The product I will be selling is Male only fitness classes with the emphasis on exercises that are closer to real life and sport such as lifting and carrying heavy objects. Sprinting. Wrestling. Competing in sport. The focus is on togetherness as a unit that supports each other but please not in a soft way. Here it is worth mentioning that loneliness, anxiety, depression, eating disorders are all areas that men suffer with but don’t always speak out as they are expected to be tough. I want these guys to feel welcome with me. The target audience is male, aged 35-55 and professional. Their relationship status is unimportant but I encourage them to better in business and better fathers, husbands and providers. Their current health status can be anywhere from sick couch potato to high functioning athlete but the commonality is a desire to be the very best version of themselves they can be. Their health, nutrition, sleep and stress management is also very important so I want to be clear this isn’t to be a “muscle head” body builder’s venture. My target audience is losing its masculinity in today’s modern world and the current fitness offerings such as plodding away slowly on a treadmill leave men dissatisfied and unfulfilled. I want to give them fitness that is exciting, rewarding and manly.
Things are becoming a little clearer now and what I am liking is a white background with black and grey wording and images. What I am also thinking is that a strong male image rather than a ‘TM’ image might work. An example of this would be a chain. A chain with links in shows unity and strength and it can’t be broken. A chain is one idea but there will be others too.
