artful needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 54 designs submitted by 22 freelance designers.
Marilyn's logo should look understated and convey "creative sustainable design". She loved the idea of a group of flower petals swooshing from creative chaos into an ordered flower. she wanted a "blueprint" style to reflect her work in building and the flower to symbolise empathy and creativity.

Our client Marilyn is a professional organiser, mostly as a renovation/home improvement consultant/facilitator and occasionally a lecturer in design
Target audience
rich tertiary educated people either female and parents or slightly older men and women eg 40s and 50s who are renovators
Impression the design should give
the impression should be - a clever designer, empathetic and experienced in working in creative teams.
She works a lot in home improvement and renovations but the logo can't alienate the tertiary sector as she gets freelance work in academia

Main thing is to be understated and minimalist with "designed" line drawing feel.
The desired concept was an arc of petals swooshing from creative chaos into a nice ordered daisy. The style was to be like an architects drawing or blueprint to reflect building design and the flower to reflect creativity and empathy.
probably blue colours but A dash of red is nice.
Readability is important.
