Mpin17 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Project Blue needs a new logo
Check out Mpin17's Logo design contest…
Community & Non-Profit
Project Blue is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide financial support to police officers who are struck with a catostophic illness or injury, and provide scholarships to students who are pursuing a degree in law enforcement.
Logo types to explore
We would like the logo to include a badge with the number 8357. Possible slogan would be "Families Helping Officers," but we are not sure that it should be incorporated into the logo. The logo should translate well to grey scale -- it will be printed on tshirts in either black or white.
US$295 Bronze package
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $429.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.

Mpin17 collaborated with designers to refine their ideas

99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
