THE PRODUCT: The Read-to-Me Project is a non profit organization that prepares young children to succeed in kindergarten and beyond by providing books to students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade classrooms to read to their younger brothers and sisters (ages 1-5) at home as part of their nightly homework. The project builds a foundation of language, learning, and literacy for school success. The project exposes young children to a world of knowledge, promotes family literacy, and supports sibling relationships.
TARGET AUDIENCE: funders, educators, private donors, charitable organizations and foundations.
