KirstenHytopoulos got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Retro Political Logo for Pacific NW Candidate
Check out KirstenHytopoulos's Logo design contest…
I am candidate for city council in a small pacific northwest town that is on an island across from Seattle. My audience is the voters of this town who value the environment and community. The will prefer an subtly attractive sign to a flashy sign. Political signs are necessary evils here where we have lots of trees and vegetation. The community is largely affluent, liberal and educated.
Other color requirements
I am interested in retro color combinations inspired by vintage political signs, vintage national parks posters, vintage product labels. Want to focus mostly on Greens, Blues, Aquas, Browns. Still need text to pop because this will wind up as a roadside sign. A russet or cream accent could work, but above all people need to think environment/nature and professional/clean/tasteful
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
KirstenHytopoulos collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
