Scott is a great designer. That much is evident. What is not so evident is that the way he thinks and communicates is equally as awesome. He explains his thought process, and likes to understand the story behind what he is designing for, ultimately that is why we went with him.
How Bigshig started their logo design journey
We are an independent music production company, producing covers and original songs. We work in the studio, but also in the office. We compose at the piano and draft contracts in the boardroom. We are amazed by great vocals and inspired by great ideas. We balance business and music.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
As our songs cover all genres, the audience covers all demographics. As such, the design must be one which is universally pleasing. Our entire business is based online. We do not meet or see our customers. All we have is our music and our logo.
A simple, clean logo with a splash of fun. We would like variations of the text "Bigshig" or "Bigshig Music". The text can be either uppercase or lowercase.
Alternatively, we would like the text together with a small simple image.
We like the cleanliness of the Sony logo at http://www.sonymusic.com. However, we are looking for a less corporate feel.
We apologize for the limited guidance, but we will provide as much feedback as possible to get the right design.
