A start-up company, the founder was once the CEO of a well known international bullion trading company. The Mint provides expertise, bullion products and bullion storage to discerning, sophisticated investors in Australia and internationally. The typical customer will have a significant investment portfolio and be diversifying their risk into precious metals or are concerned by inflation and currency issues internationally and wish to use gold as a “safe haven”.
Aims: The design of the logo will immediately portray a company that is safe, trustworthy, honest and highly professional. It also needs to clearly identify that the company is Australian.
Applications: It needs to be web-friendly, simple, clean and designed in web friendly colours without too many intricate details so as to cope with low res social media applications. There should be either a core logo that is capable of translating to social media, or a core logo and a social media icon.
Target demographic: Most investors will fit into the following demographic: Over 40, Male, earning over 100,000 per annum, living in the Australian eastern seaboard.
Design features: Imagery is at the discretion of the designer, an Australian icon is preferred, but NOT the Kangaroo - the Australian map or a stylised version is a desired option.
