He’s an insightful and talented designer and even better partner. He has fresh thinking - and always remains open, responsive, flexible and stays one step ahead. This is my second time working with him - and I hope to be able to continue working with him on more projects. Exceptional.
Very patient and creative designer. I really appreciated his ability to think outside of the box and come up with unique ideas. 5 star rated!

How TheSomaticSchool started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
The Somatic School
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
WHO WE ARE
The Somatic School is the UK’s first ICF accredited school dedicated to training in somatic practices and providing coaches and therapists with somatic and embodiment skills.
In addition to offering the UK’s first fully integrative somatic-psychotherapy and embodiment training, we’re on a mission to bring together the world’s leading experts in mind-body awareness and practice to reveal just how central our bodies are to our intelligent lives; moving us from separation (“mind” and “body”) to seeing the human being as an integrated system. We're helping people make the shift from lost in thought to present in the body for a life more fully lived. We don’t just want to sell a product, we want to start a movement.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
We are current, fresh and contemporary. Often embodiment teachers and trainers tip into hippie-style spirituality, we bridge the gap between science and spirituality, East meets West. We are playful and have a sense of humour, while rigorous, sophisticated and grounded in psychological research and practice.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE
Professional coaches and therapists

Open to suggestions that also work well when printed in black and white, but preference is for black and white and monochrome.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We like the simplicity here. Bold and understated. We don't like the sketchy script style font.
We like the minimalist design and the creative twist on the letter "E". We don't like the sharp lines.
COS is a clothing brand. We like that their logo is minimalist, but stands out and is instantly identifiable.
We like that this logo is super simple, but creatively incorporates what the brand is all about within the text itself.
Again, we like the way the designer has found a creative way to use the lettering to convey meaning. The "G" looks like a repeat symbol, therefore illustrating the idea of "again". We don't like the Roman style font.
Another example of using the letters creatively. We don't like the dark box behind the "Ed".
Another creative use of lettering in a minimalist design. We like the way the V looks like a tick mark, conveying the idea of voting.
As with the vote logo. The I looks like an exclamation mark, conveying the idea of importance.
We like the Japanese feel of this one. We don't like the combination of different fonts in one logo.
We like the way this logo plays with the repeating shapes in the word. In this case it's the A's. We don't like the sharp edges in this logo. We don't like the pink.
WHAT TO INCLUDE
- Modern (but not futuristic)
WHAT TO AVOID
- No script fonts
- No additional graphics or imagery
- No sharp edges or angles
- No line breaks
- No cheap looking symbols
We want to give designers licence to be a little creative here. In a clever way. For example, doing something to the S's in "The Somatic School" that illustrates or alludes to what our business is all about: the body or the human as an integrated being (integration). "S" is just an example, it could be the O's, or it could be the way different letters interact with one another. Be creative. Surprise us. Think subtle and smart. I want this logo to be understated, but to also stand out.
Rather than a font that anyone could use, I want a typeface that is unique to The Somatic School and so instantly identifiable for those who know our brand.
