Meet Mike: Self Made engineer that decided (because his wife was driving him crazy with poorly designed Fiber Art's equipment) that he could design and manufacture better Fiber art equipment for the world to enjoy. He started with Spinning wheels and Drop spindles and is moving into Looms, carding systems, and anything else that needs improving! We use modern day materials to improve on an art that has been around for ever!!! We break the norm every day, and have turned the industry on it's ear.
Meet Kris: After Mike decided to make these products, he turned to his oldest son, to manage the marketing and sales for the company. I have many years experience in the field, so it was an easy choice.
We (Mike and Kris) actively work on the development of products and the different needs in the industry. Our products have a masculine feel, in an industry that is primarily female. We build machines, and not pieces of furniture so function is everything. We have brought the art of ergonomics and the interface of the user and the machine into an industry that was fixated on traditional and easy to build.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Fiber arts is a great industry, anything goes, and we have proven it. The majority of our customer base are female, from young to old. They love color! We run the gambit of conservative to wild and crazy. However they all love our products, because they are easy to use, very efficient, offer exceptional value, and are different. Many customers have claimed the products have relieved pain that they typically experience from other companies products. We have an almost cult like following, and we want to grow that!
This is a re-design, so I don't want to put any other restraints on it. Visit our home page at http://www.spinolution.com to see the logo that is put on the wheels. I need the final to be full color and monochrome displays. Imagery and stylized "SpinOlution" (Spinning and RevOlution) Feel free to experiment. This will drive our new website design, look and feel. Be as crazy as you like, I will be very proactive on feedback.
Go Crazy, we have broken the molds in the industry, I would like to continue the tradition with our updated logo.
