GreenPath Consulting
I am a green building consultant, working to help people understand the choices available to them for living more lightly on the planet. I have an environmental background and live an environmentally-considerate lifestyle myself. My wife and I built a strawbale home on five acres in northeastern WV (you read about and see photos of our place at: strawhousejournal.blogspot.com).
The purpose of my work is to help others find their own green path. I offer green design consulting on new construction and remodeling projects. I also offer GreenHome Audits, a systemic review of an existing home, making recommendations for how homeowners can save energy, conserve water, reduce their environmental impact and live healthier lives.
I want to convey a hopeful, optimistic message. The concept of the green path is that we are all walking into our future, creating it as we go. The small decisions and choices we make today will have a big impact upon tomorrow. I want to help people tune in to that.
General consumer market . . . homeowners, businesses, etc. I don't want to simply preach to the choir on this environmental message, so I need something that will also speak to the not so environmentally-minded.
Simple is best. I'm looking for something clean and neat. Not just the words "GreenPath" but an image that conveys the feeling and intent behind it as described above. The obvious choice would be something that suggests a pathway heading off into the horizon of a greener future. I'm open to that as well as other concepts. I'd like to keep away from images of houses or other buildings, at least as a primary element of the logo.
The logo needs to be something that will work on a business card as well as stationary and a website. I'm partial to blues and greens and any print materials will be run on recycled paper stock which often comes in flecked shades of gray or buff.
I have always liked both the design and color scheme of my other business logo, Eagle's View Enterprises. I'm attaching this logo. I'm also attaching my "temporary" GreenPath business card which I find acceptable but a little boring and a GreenHome Audit graphic I've been using.
I look forward to your best designs!
